Selection Process

  1. Submit an Expression of Interest.
  2. Candidates will receive an invitation to complete and submit an online application form along with all requirements including a statement of purpose and recommendation letters.
  3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an aptitude assessment and personal interview with the selection committee comprising of LSEF and UMass Amherst representatives.
  4. Selections will be made on rolling basis in each round and there are only limited number of scholarsip. Therefore, early application is encouraged.

Application Deadline extended till 10th May 2020 Letter Of Recommendation Deadline- 24th May 2020 Round 1 | 15 October, 2019 - 15 January, 2020 Round 2 | 16 January, 2020 - 29 February, 2020 Round 3 | 1 March, 2020 - 30 May, 2020 Note: There are limited number of scholarships and admissions are on rolling basis in each round. Hence, early application is recommended.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants need to be Indian citizens.
  • Candidates who have completed (or will complete before July 2020) minimum of three years of undergraduate (bachelor) degree in any discipline from an accredited institution or University in India are eligible to apply.
  • Applicants should have studied Mathematics as a subject upto a minimum of 12th grade or equivalent.
  • Applicants should have secured a minimum of 75% marks in their Undergraduate degree, 12th and 10th grades (or equivalent).
  • GRE and TOEFL/IELST examination scores are not mandatory for admission.
